To improve our community and the quality of life of its residents by:

      *     Preparing individuals for housing and homeownership;
      *     Encouraging and facilitating a comprehensive approach to community development.

About Us

Chesapeake Community Development Corporation (Chesapeake CDC) was founded in August 2006 and is located in Charles County, MD.  The service area is the Southern Maryland region and vicinity.  A 501(c)(3) designation is pending.

Current Projects and Efforts

Chesapeake CDC is a member of the Charles County Homeless and Emergency Shelter Committee and the Nanjemoy Area Housing Subcommittee. We are an active participant in the effort to address substandard housing and an array of other individual and community needs in the Nanjemoy area.
